About the chef

Knoxberry started out as a hobby of David Knox. A hobby based on experimenting in the kitchen to make gifts for friends and family. Very quickly, friends shared the Knoxberry products with their friends and the word spread that a local man in Malanda was creating some delicious and often rare and unusal products.

David has continued to create the old time favourites like strawberry jam as well as experiementing with other ingredients. David grows, dries and roasts his own coffee beans and one of the very successful experiments that has resulted in a gourmet product, is created from the fruit of the coffee tree.

David has live with his wife Yoko in Malanda for 25 years. Their four children were all raised there and grew up on jam on toast for breakfast.

Sharing his love for food and fresh produce is what makes this Tablelands man very happy indeed.
